Get ready to laugh and connect. That's always been the Sweetology promise — long before we shipped our first kit. Today, we give guests plenty of materials and room to make something their own.

We built Sweetology around a simple belief: team building activities don't have to be awkward, boring, or forgettable. They should make people smile, bring out their creativity, and maybe get a little icing on their keyboard.

The Kits

Every Sweetology kit is built for creativity — not just a design everyone has to copy. Our Deluxe Gingerbread House kits bring 1.2 lb of candy in 10 different varieties, plus royal icing and holiday sprinkles. Cookie guests color their own royal icing with the included gels and mixing chart. More materials, more options, more creativity, more fun — whether the result is spectacular or hilariously lopsided.

Sweetology kits aren't your old boring standard. We take pride in that.

The Shipping

We made shipping easy on purpose — because it's usually the hardest part. After you book, we send your team a simple address collection form. Each participant fills in their own shipping address directly — or, if you already have the addresses, upload them all at once with a CSV form template. No chasing people down, no logistics headaches for the organizer. We handle all bulk shipping coordination from there.

Every participant gets a kit shipped directly to them. Shipping to Continental US is included at no extra cost. Additional shipping is available to Alaska, Hawaii & US Territories for $75/person, Canada for $60/person, and International for $45/person.

The Events

On event day, a live professional instructor takes over — guiding your team through the experience with the energy of a live decorating show and the patience of someone who has seen many, many lopsided gingerbread houses. No experience required. No pressure. Just your team, some really good candy, and a story to tell at the next all-hands.

About the Founder

Sweetology has been engaged in the corporate event space since its founding in 2013. The company was founded in St. Louis by Kara Newmark — entrepreneur, lawyer, and mother of three.

Kara originally envisioned a franchise model with her first DIY decorating studio. After building three brick-and-mortar locations, COVID had another idea. In 2020, Kara was forced to close her stores and pivot to e-commerce — and it was in that moment that lightning struck.

Kara found the virtual business world, or rather it found her: she was providing something that corporate America was desperately looking for at the exact moment teams were being separated. Since then, Kara has hosted hundreds of corporate decorating events and shipped thousands of decorating kits domestically and internationally, delighting guests and connecting teams across the world.
