Summer is here! Since school is out, your kids are sure to have a lot of extra time on their hands and Sweetology has many ideas to cure your summer boredom! Here are some fun summer activities to try out!

Summer Cake Decorating Camp - Virtual or In-Person

Occupy long summer days and conquer summer boredom by finding a summer camp near you! If your child loves sweets and being creative, our summer cake camp is a great option! Campers will be taught how to decorate cakes, cookies, and cupcakes using different decorating techniques and tools. Campers will work with buttercream, royal icing, fondant, and more! Each day will focus on a new product culminating in a final show stopper. At the end of each day, campers will go home with their own edible masterpieces!

Choose from one of our three Summer Camp themes: Faux Food, Rainbow Rush, and Unicorns and Magical Creatures.

Virtual Summer Camp - If you are located outside of the St. Louis area or would prefer to do Summer Camp remotely, you can join us virtually! Sign up for one of our six weeks of camp and we will ship you everything you need to join us virtually over Google Meet from your own home. See events tab above. Prices start at $45 per class.

Bake at Home - Get Creative!

Try your hand at baking in your own kitchen! There are endless possibilities to keep everyone busy the entire summer. Bake cookies, cake, or cupcakes, and make your own buttercream frosting. Try some of the recipes we linked below or Google some of your own!

Summer Swim Party - Fun in the Sun Decorating Kits

It's not summer without a pool party and it’s not a pool party without a sweet treat! Sweetology decorating kits provide delicious cupcakes or cookies as well as a fun DIY activity. Go inside to cool off after swimming all day and decorate our summer beach kits with friends! 

Educational Summer Activities - Science Kits

Continue learning throughout the summer months by exploring volcanoes, the solar system, and the layers of the earth. Sweetology Create & Learn project kits provide hands-on fun with edible, educational projects that will spark learning and discovery. Projects help build awareness of our connection to nature, practice color mixing, measuring, and help to develop fine motor and visual skills. The only thing kids will love more than creating these projects is eating them! 

DIY Rainy Day Activities - Summer Decorating Kits

If it is a rainy day, stay inside and play! Draw a picture, play a game, or transport yourself to outer space, a field of flowers, or back to the Jurassic with one of our cupcake or cookie decorating kits. Decorating kits include everything you need to make an edible masterpiece — cupcakes or cookies, made-from-scratch buttercream frosting, a professional decorating set, sprinkles, and sugar decor. This is sure to be the sweetest summer activity!

Summer Classes - Decorating 101

Beat the heat with a fun summer decorating class! During Decorating 101 classes, students will learn how to use different piping techniques, color their own buttercream or royal frosting, and decorate their own cakes, cupcakes, or cookies.
